Co-led the redesign and relaunch of a legacy Flash-based application into a modern SaaS platform, covering expense, invoice, and admin experiences. Developed a sustainable design system adopted by engineering to maintain consistency at scale. Improved user experience through research-driven insights and introduced interactive features that increased engagement.
Challenge
The legacy Flash-based application relied on complex workflows and outdated UI patterns. It required modernization to simplify the user experience and support responsive design across desktop and multiple device sizes.
Results
Developed a comprehensive design system encompassing typography, brand color palette, and scalable UI components. Leveraged user research insights to simplify report creation and management workflows. Delivered fully responsive experiences across web, iOS, and Android, and integrated biometric authentication and SSO to meet enterprise security requirements.
Conclusion
Redesigned and relaunched the entire application using a scalable design system, migrating 98% of legacy screens to a modern platform. Delivered 20% new feature enhancements, primarily within the admin management workflow. The redesign contributed to a 23% increase in client acquisition and a 35% growth in sales.
